The beauty of it is that as well as being a well-functioning Giant Loon Deck with good synergy, it also features mostly common cards which means it is easy to level up quickly and beat those lv12 Royal Giants! In that case Lightning works really well at taking out these defences so that you Hog Rider can reach the tower successfully. . After a single crown, i usually play defensive, but if they play fireball or arrows, i do a hog a hog push with barbs or minions, along with the ice wizard for the 3 crown.
I have both Zap and Lighting ready to cast, depending on how my opponent reacts. The Hog Rider is very important. Once you have taken down one enemy tower you can play a little more defensively and only push at the good opportunities. Even if you lose one of your crown towers early in the game, keep playing, this deck can turn the match around really fast. I prefer right side Corner because i am right handed. Basically they will be your handymen, if the enemy sends a mini pekka running down the other lane, stall him with them.
You should definitely equip this card if you are in Arena 3 or 4 because almost everybody there uses a Giant push deck, every time their push comes drop a valk on there back line as soon as they cross the river and shout Spin to Win Baby. If you get it in the opening set then always spawn it behind the king tower so by the time it reaches near the edge of your side you can accompany it with 2-3 cards and still have some spare elixir. This position allows the balloon to bypass certain building plants. Even if the golem gets to the tower, as long as you dealt equal or more damage with the hog, you won in the trade. You need to freeze early and lose time on freeze for when the hog gets to tower, but more damage is dealt than if you hadn't put the freeze down so early. Also anytime i see a golem and there are no defenses, I always drop a hog on the side golem isn't on if I have it. Just let the wiz and musk cross the river and drop the valk on them, barb for the giants. And I can't get past 1600 trophies.
