As Shao Qian spends time with Tong Xue, he cannot help but fall in love with her, but his feelings are very conflicted. Things are also complicated by Tong Xue's nostalgic feelings for her first love, Xiao Shan Li Zhi Nan. Providentially, she is slimmer than before when shooting the Miniseries Sequel. Then show us Shaoqian at the airport watching Tong Xue's cries from a distance, as described in the epilogue. At minimum, I think they should have put Shaoqian's police station scene before Tong Xue's airport scene. However the moment he finally released her, it was too late for her to run free. Even though I never read the novel because I couldn't stand to go through another tragic heartache, I heard this novel is perhaps one of Fei Wo Si Chun's best works.
