The author trusts her reader's intellect, flicking forward riveting scene after scene, each following the next like the lash of the whip. Her mother thought that it would be best for Ronnie to go visit her father to try to tie their fragile bond together and be more close. This book is pretty much all of the things noted in the synopsis above, certainly, but it is broader in scope than the blurb suggests. I bought it on Thursday, picked it up on Friday night to start reading it, went to bed reading it, picked it back up on Saturday and finished it!
